Hello,

I'm Becky Goodall, a strategist who helps business leaders get clear on what makes them different and build strategies that work in the wild.

With over 20 years in brand and marketing, I bring strategic thinking grounded in commercial reality - to help you understand what's valuable and viable, and where to focus to deliver results.

My story

I'm lucky to have had a career that has spanned both global brands and grassroots ventures.

​

I have worked with some of the world’s most iconic organisations - Samsung, Google, the BBC, Tesco, Coca-Cola, and Lloyds Banking Group - and these roles gave me a grounding in world-class strategy, the ability to think big picture, and a love of detail and commercial pragmatism.
 

I have also found myself drawn to smaller businesses and not-for-profits - from a surf resort in Costa Rica, to an adventure organisation in the UK, to conservation work in Patagonia, and eventually leading an environmental publishing and production company. These roles gave me variety, freedom and purpose, and taught me how to roll up my sleeves and make things happen with limited resources. I’ve learned that I thrive at the point where mission meets momentum.

The mix of big-brand discipline and small-business creativity is what I bring to my clients today.

My approach

Over the years, I've come to believe a few things shape the strongest strategies:

  • Clear thinking beats clever tactics. Get your positioning right, and the marketing flows from there.

  • Commercial reality matters. The best strategies account for what you can actually afford to deliver with the time, money, and resources you have. 

  • Purpose without profit doesn't work. I help you build things that align with your values AND succeed commercially - one shouldn't come at the expense of the other.

I've worked with a lot of strategists who are big on vision but low on viability. My strategies are built to work in the wild because they're grounded in what's a real priority and what's genuinely possible - not just what sounds good in a presentation.
